The ACS provides applicants and instructors with subject matters that the applicant should know in order to pass the knowledge & practical test for a certificate/rating. It shows how the required knowledge, risk management, and skill elements for each Area of Operation/Task are connected. It also clearly defines expectations and behaviors for risk management. This is a testing document only, do not limit education solely around the material listed in the ACS.
